House Cleaning FAQs
Q. Will the same maid from The Everything Girl clean my house each time I order cleaning services?
A. Yes, we try to maintain the same cleaning schedule for our staff to service the clients but you may receive different cleaners due to changes in the scheduling, vacations, and illness.
Q. What if I’m not happy with your services?
A. Your satisfaction is the most important thing to us. If you are not happy with a maid, or the services performed, let us know right away. No matter how small you think your complaint might be, we do want to hear it. We will do everything we can do keep you happy as a customer which includes returning to your home free of charge to redo the work or do work that wasn't complete. This is a customer-oriented industry and our focus is on you, our customer.
Q. Do I have to provide the cleaning supplies for the maid?
A. You can, but we usually provide our own supplies. Remember, our focus is on green cleaning, so we provide green cleaners. But we do have customers who request we use their specific products and we are happy to do that whenever it’s requested.
Q. Do you clean windows and carpets too?
A. Look on this page under "PROFESSIONALS AND PARTNERS".
When you schedule your carpet and window cleanings, we recommend you choose a day that’s different from your regular home cleaning day.
Q. Must I be at home when you clean my house?
A. It's your choice but most TEG clients prefer to give us a key so they do not have to wait for the cleaners to arrive. Others leave us a key in a safe place each visit. Alarm systems can either be left off or you can give us entry/exit codes.
Although we try our best to schedule all clients appropriately, cleaning times, traffic, and parking are not a science, therefor please allow for a one hour time frame within your appointment time for the cleaner(s) to arrive.
Q. How do you protect my keys?
A. If you choose for us to hold your key it is secured in a locked key storage device to which only TEG management have access. The key is issued to the team leader on the day of your cleaning. The team leader returns the key at the end of the day and management returns it to the secured container. All keys are coded with an alpha-numeric number and cannot be traced to you, your home or information in your account.
Q. How many people will clean my home?
A. We usually work in teams of two, one of whom is a Team Leader (supervisor). Occasionally there is a third person whom is a Field Supervisor/Manager and present during the cleaning. For larger house cleaning projects we may employ more team members.
Q. What are your house cleaning rates?
A. Fees are based on the size, condition, and specifications for the cleaning of your home. We are happy to discuss your needs by phone, in person or using our on-line to accurately provide you with an estimate to clean your home.
Q. Parking
A. When calling to book your appointment, please be ready to provide instructions on where to park if street parking is not available at your residence. This is especially important for condominiums in the downtown area.
